Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cayden Abner (ranked 360 p4p, 989 weight class) and Nils Ragnaar (ranked 57 p4p, 156 weight class). Abner comes to the cage accompanied by Bulls On Parade. Ragnaar is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mustasch - The Wave. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Nils Ragnaar enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cayden Abner!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nils Ragnaar!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abner gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ragnaar.
Abner defending well as Ragnaar loads up on a big left hand.
Abner was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Ragnaar throws a head kick that misses.
A nice combination there by Ragnaar.

Ragnaar throws a hook to the side of Abner's head but Abner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ragnaar looks to throw the jab but Abner is out of range.
Ragnaar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ragnaar scores with a hook to the body. Abner takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ragnaar lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Abner has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Abner and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Abner wants to work for an arm triangle but Ragnaar is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Abner tries to lock up and control but Ragnaar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Abner is trying to reverse the position but instead Ragnaar has taken his back - oops!

Will Ragnaar go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Abner is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ragnaar is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ragnaar has escaped and now he's on top!

Cayden Abner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Abner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ragnaar's guard.

Abner circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Ragnaar drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Abner follows Ragnaar to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Cayden Abner started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
