The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vieira shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sergius as he avoids it easily.

Vieira shoots in looking for a takedown. Sergius tries to sprawl out of it but Vieira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sergius manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sergius looks to land a combination but Vieira avoids it well.

Vieira tries to pull guard but Sergius holds him up against the cage and eventually Vieira drops back down to his feet.

After the fight, Sergio Sergius was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
