Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Radu Dracul!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Izanagi throws a hook to the side of Dracul's head but Dracul sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dracul with the counter takedown but Izanagi avoids it easily.
Dracul's coach down at ZuccoTraining Ground was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dracul's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Izanagi throws a body shot but no joy.
Izanagi lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Dracul walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Izanagi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dracul feints the counter takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Izanagi tries to score with a low kick but Dracul moves his leg out of the way.

and Dracul counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Dracul working over Izanagi with some ground and pound. Izanagi looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dracul maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Izanagi could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Dracul has cracked it and Izanagi is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Dracul!

A relieved looking Radu Dracul thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
