Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Voracic Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Deontologicus Smiff!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Ben Watson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smiff closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Smiff lands in his opponent's guard.
Smiff throwing strikes from guard but Frank blocks nicely.
Smiff's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Frank wants to hit a sweep here but Smiff passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Frank there!
Smiff is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Frank is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Frank flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Smiff anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Frank and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Smiff slips an arm under Frank chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Smiff has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Smiff is squeezing on Frank like an anaconda would it's prey. Frank fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Deontologicus Smiff!
