Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard Ramirez (ranked 1511 p4p, 1952 weight class) and Aaron Tate Jr (ranked 197 p4p, 241 weight class). Ramirez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Get Lucky. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Ramirez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Tate Jr! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramirez fails with the takedown and Tate Jr counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ramirez throws an off balance right hand
and Tate Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ramirez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ramirez doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Tate Jr counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Ramirez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ramirez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Still in half guard, Ramirez seems content to control. Ramirez wants to take a breather but Tate Jr is having none of it. Tate Jr tries to get to full guard but Ramirez has control of the leg. Ramirez is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramirez is looking to take a break and control but Tate Jr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ramirez seems to be looking for submissions.
Ramirez maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Tate Jr could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Ramirez has cracked it and Tate Jr is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Ramirez!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Richard Ramirez! A very excited looking Richard Ramirez rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
