Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wei Cheng (ranked 3920 p4p, 5319 weight class) and Tugsbayar Enkhtulga (ranked 506 p4p, 604 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wei Cheng!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tugsbayar Enkhtulga!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheng wants to clinch
and Enkhtulga makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Enkhtulga scores with a punch to the head.
Cheng tries to clinch but Enkhtulga moves out of range.
Cheng walks forward, straight into a front kick from Enkhtulga.
Cheng wants to clinch but Enkhtulga slips to the side
and Enkhtulga counters with a nice uppercut.
Enkhtulga closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Wei Cheng has been cut.
Cheng closes the distance but Enkhtulga moves to the side
and Enkhtulga connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cheng doesn't manage to clinch there - Enkhtulga circles away.
Cheng is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Enkhtulga counters with a left and a right that stings Cheng.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Enkhtulga throws a fast counter high kick but Cheng manages to duck under it in time.

A nice leg kick lands there from Enkhtulga.

and Enkhtulga counters with a series of strikes. Cheng will be more careful next time no doubt.

Cheng tries to close the distance and clinch but Enkhtulga swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

enabling Enkhtulga to counter with a crisp jab.
Cheng tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Enkhtulga cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Cheng has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Enkhtulga can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cheng working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Enkhtulga doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Enkhtulga manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Enkhtulga is still trying to improve position.
Cheng doesn't have the hooks in and Enkhtulga manages to turn into his guard.

Enkhtulga decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Enkhtulga circles away from the clinch attempt
and Enkhtulga counters with a two punch combo.

Wei Cheng's cut is getting worse.
Cheng tries to clinch but Enkhtulga moves away
and Enkhtulga counters with a left and a right that stings Cheng.
Enkhtulga ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Cheng tries to clinch up.
Cheng tries to close the distance and clinch but Enkhtulga swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Enkhtulga counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Wei Cheng's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jeez, Wei Cheng's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Cheng with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Enkhtulga to score with a decent uppercut.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Wei Cheng's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tugsbayar Enkhtulga!
Tugsbayar Enkhtulga seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
