Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tama Ruiha (ranked 1069 p4p, 1726 weight class) and Johnny Saigon (ranked 135 p4p, 229 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ruiha might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Polynesian Traditional Music. Saigon has chosen Run through the jungle as his entrance music. Tama Ruiha has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Tama Ruiha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Saigon!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Damien Edna and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saigon circles away from the clinch attempt
and Saigon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ruiha misses with a body shot.
Tama Ruiha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ruiha misses with an uppercut
and Ruiha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ruiha lands with a cross.
Saigon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ruiha throws a poor cross that misses
and Saigon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ruiha jabbing away but nothing is landing.
As Ruiha backs off Saigon throws a huge counter combo but Ruiha manages to avoid it all.
Saigon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've been told by Ruiha's head coaches at London MMA Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ruiha misses with a jab to the body
and Saigon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ruiha throws an overhand right that lands on Saigon's shoulder, as Saigon tries to avoid the shot.
Saigon throws a sloppy head kick and Ruiha moves out of range easily.
Saigon slips under a jab from Ruiha.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ruiha throws a body shot but no joy.
Saigon lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Saigon throws a front kick that sends Ruiha stumbling back into the cage.
Ruiha misses with an uppercut. Saigon saw that one coming.
Ruiha throws a lazy uppercut
and Saigon makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
A jab lands there for Ruiha.
Saigon staying out of range there.
Ruiha is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Saigon.
A jab lands there for Saigon.
Ruiha throws out a loose jab but Saigon uses good head movement to avoid it.
Saigon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Saigon slips under a jab from Ruiha.
Saigon follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Saigon scores with the left hand. Ruiha knows he should have avoided that one.
Ruiha lands a jab to Saigon's midsection.
Saigon walks straight into a right hand from Ruiha - that's dropped him! Ruiha jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Saigon from any more punishment! Saigon complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tama Ruiha!
Tama Ruiha seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Johnny Saigon was interviewed post fight and said 'I come back and kick your ass.'.
