The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kapur closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Thompson quickly recovers to half guard.
Kapur wants to control but Thompson is keeping him busy.
Thompson wants to get back to full guard.
Kapur is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Thompson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Thompson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Thompson is on top in guard.

Kapur pushes a forearm under Thompson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Thompson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
