The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OConnor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Takeda.
OConnor takes one to the side of the head.
Takeda tries to score a power double leg takedown but OConnor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Takeda somewhat.
Takeda cracks a nice hook into OConnor's ribs.
OConnor uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Takeda.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Takeda avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Good exchange - Takeda coming out on top.

It looks like William OConnor has been cut.
Takeda looks to land a left hand but OConnor moved out of range nicely.
OConnor steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Takeda.
OConnor gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Takeda gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
