Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Togo (ranked 4637 p4p, 4535 weight class) and Seth Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Togo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Seth Collins! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Ben Watson and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Togo shoots for a double leg takedown but Collins sprawls well. He's pushed Togo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. No joy there for Togo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Togo. Togo tries to clinch up. Togo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Collins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Togo, pushing him back against the cage. Collins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Collins throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Togo's head. The fighters circling - Collins throws out the jab but it was never going to land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A chopping leg kick lands by Collins. Collins keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Togo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Collins drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Togo manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Collins is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Togo is trying to maintain the position but Collins is very close to passing his half guard. Collins controlling the pace. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Collins wants to take a breather but Togo is having none of it. Collins moves nicely into side control. Togo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Togo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Collins. Collins winds up and cracks Togo with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Collins trying to control from half guard but Togo is working away. Collins tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Togo. Togo is defending against the submission attempts here by Collins.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Togo preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Collins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Togo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Collins looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Togo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Collins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Togo napping and manages to drive through into side control! Togo bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Togo closes the distance and clinches up with Collins, looking for a takedown. Togo pushes Collins against the cage but Collins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nice sprawl there from Collins as Togo shoots in. Togo is breathing heavily. Togo fails with a takedown attempt. Collins closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Togo manages to escape and get back to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Togo tries to clinch up but Collins circles away and keeps his distance. Togo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Collins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Collins steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Togo. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Seth Collins will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Collins gets a double leg takedown into Togo's guard. Togo pushes Collins off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Collins throws a head kick that misses. Togo with a poor takedown and Collins counters with a nice uppercut. Collins drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Collins looking to sit in guard and control but Togo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Collins trying to keep a closed guard but Togo is proving a slippery customer.

Togo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Togo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Collins being controlled here, momentarily. Togo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Collins can do anything to dispel that myth. Collins working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Togo has passed into half guard!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Togo stalling. Togo seems to be looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Togo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Collins takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Togo throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

That's going to sap some energy. Collins is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Collins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Togo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Togo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Collins gets a clinch. Collins jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Togo walks away with a smile on his face. Collins gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Collins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Collins stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. No luck with that takedown attempt from Togo. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Collins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Danny Togo will probably get the nod. That's time! Togo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Collins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Togo keeping moving, preventing Collins from controlling successfully. Collins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Collins working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Collins lands a couple of decent looking shots. Togo thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Collins postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Togo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Collins is aware though and is defending well.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Both fighters circling a little - Collins finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Togo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Togo shoots for a double leg takedown but Collins sprawls well. He's pushed Togo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Collins drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Togo defends it well. Togo shoots in for a takedown but Collins shows good takedown defense. A nice side step and Collins releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Collins gets in close and instigates a clinch. Collins stalls. Togo is fighting off a takedown attempt but Collins is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Togo to the mat. Togo regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Collins trying to control but Togo is working from the bottom. Togo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Collins slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Togo is trying to work for a sweep but Collins has mounted him! Togo taking shots to the head. Collins looking to finish Togo with some ground and pound. This is bad for Togo! Togo tries to hold on but Collins pushes him away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Collins wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Collins lands a heavy elbow. Collins looking to control but Togo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Collins sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Togo wants to hold on but Collins pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Collins swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Togo is now in Collins's guard. A big mistake from Collins there, giving up the dominant position! Danny Togo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Collins is looking to stand up but Togo isn't so interested in that idea. Togo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Collins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Togo has managed to get both his arms back between Collins's legs - danger averted. Togo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Collins is looking for a triangle but Togo pushes his legs off easily.

And that's the end of the fight! Seth Collins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Collins has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
