The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuomanen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Northern missing with a left hand there. Kuomanen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Northern cracks Kuomanen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Ahjo Kuomanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Northern throws a looping overhand right but Kuomanen ducks down to avoid it.
Kuomanen is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Yhorm Northern has been cut.
Kuomanen lands with a big left! Northern is wobbled badly! Kuomanen comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Northern to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
