Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hanzo Handzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Brue!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handzo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Brue to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Brue must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Handzo keeping moving, preventing Brue from controlling successfully.
Brue pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Handzo is keeping the position for now.

Brue got a little sloppy there for a moment and Handzo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brue has managed to get both his arms back between Handzo's legs - danger averted.

Handzo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brue can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Brue content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Handzo has locked up a guillotine! Handzo's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Brue is holding on here and Handzo must be using up a lot of energy. Brue has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Handzo gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
