Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Orest Kyrylyuk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonan Holzt!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyrylyuk comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Holzt looking to score a takedown here. Kyrylyuk is defending well but Holzt drives through and ends up in Kyrylyuk's guard.
Kyrylyuk is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Holzt dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holzt is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Kyrylyuk is trying to escape and Holzt transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Kyrylyuk is forced to tap! Nice work there by Holzt! Very nice indeed!
