Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Nakamura (ranked 1482 p4p, 5584 weight class) and Bruno Epolito (ranked 174 p4p, 456 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bruno Epolito!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Epolito with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Nakamura moves out of range of the body kick.
Epolito gets tackled into the cage by Nakamura. Nakamura maintains the clinch.
Epolito stalling against the cage.
Nakamura lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Epolito backwards.
Nakamura breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Epolito connects with a looping right hand.
Nakamura throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Epolito sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Epolito walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Nakamura clinches up with Epolito and pushes him back against the cage.

Epolito ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nakamura moves away.

Epolito misses with a hook. Nakamura ducked under it nicely.
Nakamura lands a nice shot to the body.
Epolito walks straight into a right hand from Nakamura - that's dropped him! Nakamura jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Epolito from any more punishment! Epolito complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
