Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eoin Andershannon O Darby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Darby comes into the arena with I'm Shipping up to Boston by Dropkick Murphys blaring out of the sound system. James Nelson looks lathargic as he enters the arena. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like James Nelson has been cut.
Nelson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nelson ducks straight into an uppercut from O Darby and tumbles to the canvas! Its a flash knockdown though - Nelson maanges to regain guard straight away.
Nelson is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
O Darby thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Nelson is still in real trouble! Can O Darby finish him?
O Darby drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. O Darby seems to have locked his on tight now - Nelson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for O Darby, as he picks up the win!
