Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Wilson (ranked 1605 p4p, 2135 weight class) and Brock Hardman (ranked 218 p4p, 285 weight class). Wilson comes to the cage accompanied by Under the knife. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Hardman!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardman forces Wilson back against the cage and clinches.
Wilson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Wilson jumps into guard, dragging Hardman to the mat.

Wilson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hardman's waist but Hardman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wilson off to one side.
Wilson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hardman.
Some bone on bone action there as Wilson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wilson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hardman counters with a left to the body.

Wilson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hardman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wilson is in Hardman's guard.
Wilson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hardman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hardman wants to stand but Wilson is controlling the position.
Hardman kicks Wilson off and gets to his feet.
Hardman feints and then cracks Wilson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wilson down.
Hardman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A little feinted left hand from Wilson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Hardman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

and Hardman counters with a stiff right hand.
Hardman misses with a kick to the body.
Hardman throws a right hand that Wilson ducks under and follows up with a left that Wilson also avoids with ease.

Wilson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Wilson is trying to drag Hardman to the mat but Hardman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Hardman lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Wilson or not.
