Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bugrahan Alparslan Karakas (ranked 6425 p4p, 4652 weight class) and Chatillon Damaskinos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damaskinos has chosen The Beatles - I Want To Hold Your Hand as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bugrahan Alparslan Karakas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chatillon Damaskinos!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Damaskinos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Karakas attempts a counter takedown but Damaskinos avoids it well and moves away.
Karakas looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karakas has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Damaskinos misses with a double jab

and Karakas moves into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Damaskinos tries to circle away but Karakas has him pinned against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Damaskinos's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Damaskinos working hard to break the clinch.
The referee calls for Karakas to work.
Karakas lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Karakas has Damaskinos pressed against the cage, preventing Damaskinos from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Damaskinos is trying to force a seperation but Karakas has the dominant position.
Karakas has Damaskinos pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Damaskinos manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Karakas keeps control of Damaskinos as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Damaskinos wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Karakas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Damaskinos walks away with a smile on his face. Karakas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Damaskinos misses with the combination.
Karakas appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Damaskinos throws a left and a right that both miss
and Karakas counters with a series of strikes. Damaskinos will be more careful next time no doubt.
Damaskinos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Damaskinos falls off balance throwing a combination

and Karakas holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Damaskinos tries to circle away but Karakas has him pinned against the cage.

Karakas manages to break the clinch.

Damaskinos drops Karakas with a nice combination! Damaskinos dives into Karakas's guard, looking to finish!

Karakas is rocked!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Damaskinos pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Karakas is keeping the position for now.

Damaskinos drops back, looking for a kneebar! Karakas looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Karakas looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Karakas!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Damaskinos pushes Karakas away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Karakas gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Chatillon Damaskinos dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Karakas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Damaskinos's waist but Damaskinos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Karakas off to one side.
Damaskinos lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
You can follow us on Twitter at...Ooooooh Karakas got wobbled bad by a big combination! Damaskinos presses forward with punches and knees until Karakas stumbles to the ground! The ref watches Karakas closely before deciding to step in and end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chatillon Damaskinos!
