The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slaughter is looking to slow Thibodeaux down with leg kicks.
A slow jab from Slaughter misses its intended target.
A counter left hand to the body from Thibodeaux misses its target.
Slaughter looks to throw the jab but Thibodeaux is out of range.
Slaughter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Good leg kick by Slaughter.
Slaughter throws a right hand that misses
and Thibodeaux counters with a left to the body.
Slaughter connects with an inside leg kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Thibodeaux. That snapped Slaughter's head back.
Thibodeaux cracks Slaughter with an open hand slap.
Slaughter ducks under a wild hook from Thibodeaux.
Slaughter misses with a hook
and Thibodeaux counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Slaughter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thibodeaux sees it coming and avoids it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slaughter throws an overhand right that lands on Thibodeaux's shoulder, as Thibodeaux tries to avoid the shot.
Slaughter throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Smif Thibodeaux has been cut.
Slaughter thumps Thibodeaux with a low kick.

Slaughter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

letting Thibodeaux counter with a right hand.
Slaughter throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Slaughter lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Thibodeaux definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Thibodeaux lands a jab to the nose.

Slaughter is rocked!
Thibodeaux drops Slaughter with a straight right hand, right on the button! Thibodeaux follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
