Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason King (ranked 5755 p4p, 3916 weight class) and Jason King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason King!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter B throws a series of punches but Fighter A avoids them all with ease.
Fighter A changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Fighter B checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Fighter A circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fighter B scores with a jab to the head.

Fighter B tries to sprawl but Fighter A drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Fighter B tries to get to full guard but Fighter A has control of the leg.
Fighter B keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Fighter A missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Fighter B keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Fighter B avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fighter A.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter A throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Fighter A is nestled in close to Fighter B, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter A passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Fighter B!
Fighter B flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Fighter B throwing hammer fists to the chest of Fighter A. What's that going to do exactly?
Fighter B is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Fighter A has hold of Fighter B's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fighter B manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fighter B flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Fighter B is bucking up trying to escape but Fighter A cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Fighter A landing strikes from the mount and Fighter B is in trouble!
Fighter A has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fighter B flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Fighter A is working for a guillotine from mount but Fighter B frees his head quite easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fighter B can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fighter A is breathing heavily.
Fighter B throwing hammer fists to the chest of Fighter A. What's that going to do exactly?
Fighter A lands a nice shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fighter B wants to control but Fighter A is having none of it.
Fighter A tries to control but Fighter B wriggling away.
Fighter B is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Fighter B really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The referee warns Fighter B that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter A scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Fighter A lands a nice shot to the head.
Fighter B is working to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fighter A moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Fighter B has worked his arm free - good work by Fighter B!
Fighter A connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Fighter B some visible discomfort.
Fighter B is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Fighter B is trying to maintain the position but Fighter A is very close to passing his half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fighter A throwing shots but Fighter B is blocking nicely.
Fighter B holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Fighter A working the head and body with strikes.
Fighter B wants to improve his position but Fighter A is controlling well.
Fighter A seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Fighter B is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fighter A's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fighter A's back!
Fighter A is trying to break free.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fighter B has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Fighter A.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jason King dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Fighter B defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fighter A.
Despite the aggression on Fighter B's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Fighter B misses with a wild combination.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fighter B crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fighter A - the referee stops the clock and Fighter B gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fighter A. Fighter B manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Fighter B lands an overhand right.

Fighter A looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Fighter B!
Fighter B manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Fighter B blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fighter A.
Fighter B throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Fighter A blocks the strikes from Fighter B.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fighter B is looking for a sweep. Fighter A is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fighter B manages to get to full guard.
Fighter A is in close to Fighter B's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Fighter A scoring with punches to the head and body.
Fighter A is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fighter B can do to turn this around?
Fighter A trying to control the position from guard on top but Fighter B is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fighter A throws a big right hand that misses.
Fighter B throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Our spies down at at Gym Goroshi London inform us that Fighter B has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Fighter A throwing strikes but missing.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Fighter B lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fighter A throws a lazy head kick
and Fighter B counters with a straight right hand.
Fighter B tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fighter A paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fighter A throws a half hearted mid kick.
Fighter B fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Fighter A on the side of the head.
Fighter B scores with a one two! Fighter A had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Fighter B slips a nice elbow through Fighter A's hands, connecting with Fighter A's forehead.
Fighter B drops an elbow to the side of Fighter A's head.

Fighter A is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fighter B pulls his head out easily.
Fighter A misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Fighter A is not content to let Fighter B control the position.
Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B is keeping busy.
Fighter B lands with a punch from half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fighter B lands a nice short elbow.

Fighter B looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fighter A with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Fighter A flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Fighter A misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Fighter B stalling away here and it's allowed Fighter A to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Fighter B stands up over Fighter A, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Fighter B chips away with some ground and pound.
Fighter B controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Fighter A trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Fighter A not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fighter B working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fighter A's head.
Jason King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Fighter B wants to control from the top but Fighter A keeps moving.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jason King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Fighter B feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fighter B is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Fighter B is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Fighter A is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fighter B is aware though and is defending well.

Fighter B works to advance to full mount. Fighter A defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Fighter A bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fighter A throws an elbow that misses. Fighter B uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fighter A's guard. Nice move by Fighter B!

Jason King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fighter B has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
