Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Young Gangster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roy Matt!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Matt throws a fast counter high kick but Gangster manages to duck under it in time.
Gangster misses with a takedown attempt - Matt sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Matt shoots in and gets a takedown into Gangster's guard.
Matt trying to control but Gangster is working from the bottom.
Gangster trying to control the position.
Matt is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gangster wants to control but Matt passes easily into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice strikes from Matt there.
Matt decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
No luck for Matt with that takedown attempt.
Matt lands with a shot to the body.
Gangster swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Matt counters by clinching up.
Matt breaks the clinch.
Matt closes the distance and clinches.
Matt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Matt lands a big head kick that sends Gangster tumbling to the mat! Matt takes a step backwards and waves Gangster back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gangster is rocked!
It looks like Young Gangster has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Matt gets a big slam - oh, Gangster is out! Gangster is out! That's a nasty KO!
