The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yarmalenko throws a body shot but no joy.
Despite the aggression on Nysus's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Nysus comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nysus shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Yarmalenko's guard.
Nysus has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Yarmalenko is proving hard to escape from.
Yarmalenko is working an open guard so Nysus takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nysus scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

and Nysus counters with a nice uppercut.

Nysus lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Yarmalenko falls backwards - clearly groggy! Nysus dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
