Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahasuerus scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Ahasuerus cracks Thomas with a good jab.
Ahasuerus misses with a two punch combination.
Ahasuerus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ahasuerus lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
No joy there for Ahasuerus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Thomas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ahasuerus scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ahasuerus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ahasuerus takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Thomas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thomas lands with a nice combination. Ahasuerus backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Xerxes Ahasuerus has been cut.
Thomas throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Ahasuerus's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Thomas dives in looking to finish as Ahasuerus flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Thomas's strikes! Thomas is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Ahasuerus's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Ahasuerus was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Thomas!
