Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chen Mei (ranked 5199 p4p, 4633 weight class) and Matt Scarrot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mei misses with a wild body shot.

Scarrot clinches up with Mei and pushes him back against the cage.

Scarrot gets control of Mei's arms and successfully pulls guard. Scarrot will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Scarrot shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mei as he jumps to the side.
It looked like Mei wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Scarrot has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mei regains guard immediately.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mei, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
