Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Carter (ranked 4895 p4p, 4635 weight class) and Cameron Betts (ranked 430 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wayne Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cameron Betts!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter feints and then cracks Betts's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Betts down.
Betts throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Betts takes one on the button.
Betts is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Betts will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Betts fails with an attempt to clinch.
Carter is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Betts takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Betts is rocked!
Carter tries a head kick but it misses.
Betts is still on wobbly legs! Can Carter finish him?
Carter avoids the head kick by Betts.
Betts checks a leg kick nicely.
Betts seems to have recovered his senses.
Betts tries to move into range but Carter moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Betts fails with an attempt to clinch.
Carter sends Betts crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Carter is motioning to the referee to let Betts up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Betts dives in and grabs Carter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Carter pushes down on Betts's head and hops out.
Carter feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Betts sprawling to the canvas! Betts rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Carter finish him?!
BOOM! Carter lands a beautiful left hook that drops Betts. Betts tries to recover but Carter is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Betts lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wayne Carter!
Our winner, Wayne Carter, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
