Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Vernon (ranked 283 p4p, 106 weight class) and Rectal Thermometer (ranked 44 p4p, 15 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thermometer jabs Vernon to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Vernon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Thermometer misses with the combination.
Thermometer loads up on a big right hand but Vernon slips the punch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Vernon.
Thermometer checks a low kick from Vernon.
A slow jab from Thermometer misses its intended target.
Vernon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Thermometer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vernon manages to avoid it.
Vernon tries to counter with a takedown but Thermometer is quick to defend against it.
Thermometer's corner calls for a 1-2. Thermometer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Vernon throws an overhand right that lands on Thermometer's shoulder, as Thermometer tries to avoid the shot.
Nice uppercut there from Thermometer.
Vernon shoots for a takedown but Thermometer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A slow jab from Vernon misses its intended target.

Thermometer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vernon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A looping hook to the body misses from Thermometer. Vernon does a little dance to reset his feet.

Thermometer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vernon was well out of range. Poor timing from Thermometer.
Thermometer stuns Vernon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Vernon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Thermometer has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Vernon has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Vernon prevents a body shot from Thermometer.
Vernon goes for a takedown attempt but Thermometer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Thermometer just misses with a punch to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vernon. Thermometer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Thermometer takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Vernon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A telegraphed right hand from Thermometer misses the target.
Vernon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Thermometer lands a hook that snaps the head of Vernon backwards.
Thermometer goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Vernon just leaning against Thermometer, taking a breather.
Thermometer tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Vernon's elbow.

Thermometer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thermometer catches Vernon with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Thermometer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Vernon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Thermometer takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Oooooh!!! Thermometer has knocked Vernon down with a huge combo! Thermometer steps away and waves a wobbly Vernon back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Vernon is rocked!
Thermometer cracks Vernon with a left hook right on the temple and Vernon goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Thermometer lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Vernon is OK!
