The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers throws an overhand right that lands on Sims's shoulder, as Sims tries to avoid the shot.

Summers has managed to clinch.
Summers has had enough of the clinch but Sims keeps him there for the moment.
Sims changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Summers fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Sims rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Summers moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Summers counters with a nice right hand that sends Sims toppling to the canvas! Sims scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Summers finish him?!

A nice side step and Sims releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Sims is trying hard to land a takedown here. Summers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Summers drops Sims with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sims looks back up at him and smiles so Summers waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Summers moves into the clinch.
Summers is pressed up against the cage. Sims has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Summers down to the mat. Summers avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Summers feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Sims crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
