Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Giggle Valentine (ranked 2228 p4p, 2727 weight class) and Ecce Homo (ranked 137 p4p, 173 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Giggle Valentine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Ecce Homo!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Homo clinches.
Valentine is trying to push Homo away but Homo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Valentine manages to break the clinch.
Homo lands a two punch combo.
Valentine loads up on a big right hand but Homo slips the punch.
Homo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Valentine swats him away and circles back towards the center.
An attempted straight right counter from Valentine misses the target.
Valentine misses with a lunging right hand
and Homo counters with a nice uppercut.
Valentine circles away from the clinch attempt
and Valentine counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Ecce Homo has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Homo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Homo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Homo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Valentine counter with a right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Homo throws a nice inside leg kick.
Valentine circles away from the clinch attempt.
An attempted straight right counter from Valentine misses the target.

Homo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Valentine, pushing him back against the cage.
Valentine can't break the clinch.
Come on Homo - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Valentine is looking to break free of the clinch but Homo has double underhooks.

Valentine breaks the clinch.
Valentine tries a head kick but it misses.

Valentine tries to keep at a distance but Homo has taken the fight into the clinch.
Homo missing with knees to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Valentine escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Homo clinches with his opponent.
Homo tries to stall but Valentine uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
I was talking to Valentine's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Valentine is trying to break the clinch but Homo has him pressed against the cage.
Valentine looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Valentine wants to get back to striking at distance but Homo won't allow it.
Valentine wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Valentine breaks from the clinch.
Homo tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Valentine counters with a left right combination that sends Homo crashing to the mat - Valentine wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Homo out for a TKO! Devastating finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Giggle Valentine!
