Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anirudh Negi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chuck Roast! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roast keeps the fight on the outside. Negi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Roast swivels and escapes. Roast looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Roast instigates a clinch. Roast is leaning against Negi and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Roast lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Roast pushes Negi back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Roast landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Roast lands an uppercut. Negi tries to break free but Roast pushes him back against the cage. A shot in the inside from Roast. Negi is trying to break the clinch but Roast is controlling him. Negi tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Negi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Roast smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anirudh Negi. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight moves into the clinch position. Roast scores with a shot to the side of Negi's head.
It looks like Anirudh Negi has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roast lands a right hand. Roast is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Roast is working Negi over against the cage. Negi is breathing heavily. Knees in the clinch landing for Roast.
Roast scores with a nice hook to the head. A short right from Roast on the inside.
Negi is rocked! Roast lands a shoulder strike. Oh Negi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Roast lands a knee to the body.
Roast creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Negi's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Negi drops to his knees and Roast pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck Roast! In defeat, Anirudh Negi stepped up to the mic, saying 'My fight was really good. But I want some time to do my best training. And be the best player ever.'.
