Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Devon Flee (ranked 6532 p4p, 4697 weight class) and John Dupe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devon Flee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Dupe!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flee looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dupe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Flee decides to stand up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dupe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dupe shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Flee sprawls well. Flee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dupe gets slowly back to his feet.
Flee slaps away a takedown attempt from Dupe, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Flee definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dupe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Flee's waist but Flee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dupe off to one side.
Devon Flee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Dupe.

Flee shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Flee decides to stand up.

Dupe gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Flee to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Dupe is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Flee gets to his feet - Dupe follows without any prompting.
Dupe is still on wobbly legs! Can Flee finish him?
Dupe looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dupe is looking to clinch.
Dupe seems to have recovered his senses.

Flee closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dupe's guard.

Flee decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dupe, up you get!
Dupe tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Flee dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Dupe has had enough and taps out.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Devon Flee!
Post fight, an emotional Devon Flee said 'Let's keep it postive now he put up a great fight and that's all that matters!'.
