Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Ty slaps away a takedown attempt from Nickal, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ty half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Horrible takedown attempt by Nickal or perhaps it was just good defense by Ty, which made it look bad. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nickal tries to lock up and control but Ty gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ty seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Nickal is holding on tight.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! You can see the frustration on Nickal's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
