Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Commie Hunter (ranked 460 p4p, 901 weight class) and Ken Irrawaddy (ranked 13 p4p, 22 weight class). Irrawaddy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Laos Rules! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Commie Hunter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Irrawaddy! The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunter takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like Commie Hunter has been cut. We've been told by Hunter's head coaches at Tran MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Irrawaddy takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hunter throws a shot from downtown. Irrawaddy moves away and avoids it. Hunter misses with an uppercut. Irrawaddy saw that one coming. Hunter connects with a body shot. Hunter works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Hunter misses with a hook. Hunter throws a combination that misses letting Irrawaddy counter with a right hand. Hunter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Irrawaddy moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Irrawaddy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Irrawaddy lands a right hook to the body.
Irrawaddy throws a body shot but no joy. Hunter looks to land a left hand but Irrawaddy moved out of range nicely. Irrawaddy staying out of range there. Hunter misses with a straight right. Irrawaddy misses the shot to the body. Irrawaddy avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Hunter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Hunter is looking to land body kicks. Irrawaddy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Hunter throws a right and a left that both miss. Irrawaddy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hunter throws out the jab. Irrawaddy appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter throws a lazy right hand but Irrawaddy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hunter misses with a few strikes there.
Irrawaddy moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Irrawaddy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hunter throws out the jab. Irrawaddy moves into range and clinches up with Hunter. Hunter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Irrawaddy has him pressed against the cage. Irrawaddy misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Hunter wants to get back to striking at distance but Irrawaddy won't allow it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Irrawaddy. Hunter tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Irrawaddy swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A short right from Irrawaddy on the inside. Irrawaddy works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Irrawaddy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Irrawaddy slips a jab and a cross from Hunter.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Hunter - that will leave a mark!
Hunter misses with a straight right. Irrawaddy is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Hunter with a body shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Irrawaddy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hunter was well out of range. Poor timing from Irrawaddy. Hunter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Irrawaddy punishes Hunter's body with a nice straight punch. Commie Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hunter throws a body punch but Irrawaddy moves out of range. Irrawaddy lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Hunter misses with a series of wild punches.
Irrawaddy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hunter.
Hunter jabbing away but nothing is landing. Irrawaddy scores with a jab to the head.
Irrawaddy looks to land a left hand but Hunter moved out of range nicely. Nice straight punches there by Irrawaddy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Irrawaddy. Irrawaddy scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Irrawaddy has taken the fight to the clinch.

Irrawaddy works Hunter's body with a nice hook. Hunter swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Irrawaddy scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Hunter cracks Irrawaddy with a right hand to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Donk. Irrawaddy catches Hunter right on the button with a cross. Irrawaddy has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Irrawaddy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Irrawaddy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hunter. Irrawaddy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A punch combination from Hunter misses. Hunter misses with a combination
and Irrawaddy counters with a straight right hand.
Hunter is rocked! Irrawaddy misses the jab. Hunter slips a straight right by Irrawaddy. Irrawaddy moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Hunter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hunter has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hunter there as he acknowledges the shot. Oh Hunter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Irrawaddy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hunter swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Irrawaddy lands with a cross. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Irrawaddy lands a nice hook to Hunter's body. Hunter takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Irrawaddy lands a hook that stumbles Hunter back into the cage. Irrawaddy follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Hunter to the canvas! Irrawaddy pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Hunter has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ken Irrawaddy!
