Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Whar Fedal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Whar Fedal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Reed! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed moves into range and clinches up with Fedal. Fedal goes for a takedown in the clinch but Reed prevents it.
Reed lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fedal backwards. Reed tries to break the clinch but Fedal is controlling the position. Fedal goes for a takedown attempt but Reed pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Fedal looks for a takedown but Reed sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Whar Fedal. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fedal tries to clinch up and Reed counters with a takedown into side control. Fedal is looking to regain half guard here but Reed keeps moving and retains side control. You can see the frustration on Fedal's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Reed tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed has knee on belly and moves into mount. Fedal wants to control but Reed is having none of it. Reed cracks Fedal with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reed lands a big elbow. Fedal takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Fedal keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reed pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Reed looking to control but Fedal is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Fedal really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Reed wants to control the pace but Fedal is squirming around nicely. Reed prevents Fedal from getting the reversal. Reed has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fedal's face.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Reed wants to control the pace but Fedal is squirming around nicely. Fedal working to try and regain half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Reed trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Despite being in the dominant position, Mark Reed just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fedal avoids a punch combination nicely.
Reed closes the distance and clinches up with Fedal, looking for a takedown. Reed pushes Fedal against the cage but Fedal circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A head kick misses from Fedal. Reed misses with a two punch combination.
Fedal fails with a takedown attempt. Reed is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fedal rushes Reed and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fedal has Reed pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Reed manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Reed swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Mark Reed dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Fedal misses. Fedal shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reed as he jumps to the side. Fedal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Whar Fedal. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reed displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Reed lands a jab-cross combination. Fedal fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Reed sprawls well initially but Fedal persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Reed controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Reed is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Fedal wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reed keeps working. Fedal stalling away here and it's allowed Reed to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Reed working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reed trying to control the position here. Fedal stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reed swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fedal seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Fedal seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Reed for as long as he can get away with. Reed keeping moving, preventing Fedal from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fedal trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fedal trying to control the position from guard on top but Reed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Reed rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fedal moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Fedal closes the distance and clinches. Fedal blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Fedal gets a trip takedown into half guard. Fedal trying to control from half guard but Reed is working away. Still in half guard, Fedal seems content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fedal stands up from half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fedal misses with a kick to the body and Reed counters into the clinch. Nicely done. A quick uppercut on the inside from Reed. Reed scores with a shoulder strike. Reed is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Fedal manages to break the clinch.
Fedal fails to land the takedown. Reed scores a takedown into full mount! Reed sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Reed connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Fedal is working to get back to half guard.

Fedal is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Mark Reed has got the better of the ground game so far. Fedal pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reed is keeping the position for now. Fedal trying to control but Reed is working from the bottom.

Reed won't allow Fedal to sweep him here. Fedal wants to stand but Reed is controlling the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fedal had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Reed is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fedal Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Reed's back instead. Reed staying busy and making it hard for Fedal to control. Reed controlling Fedal 's hands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fedal avoiding Reed 's attempts to control his hands. Reed is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Reed works over Fedal's head and body with a nice combination. Reed wants to clinch up but Fedal keeps it at a distance. Reed takes the fight into the clinch. Fedal is working for takedown but Reed is calmly controlling the position for now. A short left from Reed. Reed prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Reed gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fedal.

Reed goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. No joy there for Reed, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fedal tries for a takedown but Reed sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Reed looks to land a combination but Fedal avoids it well. Fedal chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Reed can pounce on him.
Reed closes the distance and clinches. Fedal can't break the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Fedal looking for a takedown. Reed breaks from the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Reed comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Reed has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
