Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Foxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vadim Leonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Foxx comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. Leonov has chosen Red october as his entrance music. Vadim Leonov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foxx drops Leonov with a nice combination! Foxx dives into Leonov's guard, looking to finish!

Leonov had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Foxx is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Leonov Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Foxx's back instead.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Leonov moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Foxx has worked his arm free - good work by Foxx!

Leonov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Foxx's waist but Foxx gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Leonov off to one side.

Foxx throws a nice looking combination but Leonov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Leonov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Foxx throws a hook but Leonov avoids it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Leonov shoots in and drives through. Foxx sprawls well.
