Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Cormier (ranked 25363 p4p, 25290 weight class) and Torro Torvonen (ranked 770 p4p, 772 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Torro Torvonen!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torvonen throws a sloppy head kick and Cormier moves out of range easily.
Torvonen misses with a shot to the body
enabling Cormier to counter with a crisp jab.
Torvonen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cormier throws a combination. Torvonen tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Torro Torvonen has been cut.
Cormier misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cormier dodges the punch combination from Torvonen.
Torvonen catches Cormier with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like Mark Cormier has been cut.
Cormier walks into a stiff left hand from Torvonen.
Torvonen throws a low kick, looking for Cormier's leg but Cormier calmly moves out of range.

Cormier shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cormier connects with a nice short shot to Torvonen's temple.
Cormier scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Cormier landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Cormier wants to work for an arm triangle but Torvonen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Cormier winds up and cracks Torvonen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Cormier tightens his grip and picks Torvonen up, before dumping him to the ground. Torvonen manages to land in guard.
Cormier wants to control from the top but Torvonen keeps moving.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cormier content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Cormier forces his way into half guard.

Cormier stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Cormier closes the distance and clinches.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cormier pulls Torvonen in close to his closed guard and prevents Torvonen from doing any damage or advancing position.
Torvonen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Torvonen wants to control from the top but Cormier keeps moving.

Torvonen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Cormier to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Torvonen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Cormier pulls down on the head and he's put Torvonen to sleep! This one is all over!
