Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Salazaro (ranked 4898 p4p, 5293 weight class) and Christopher Chan (ranked 567 p4p, 593 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jesus Salazaro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Christopher Chan! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chan gets tackled into the cage by Salazaro. Salazaro maintains the clinch. Stalling in the clinch from Salazaro.

Salazaro seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Come on Salazaro - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Chan throws an elbow but it misses.
Salazaro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salazaro tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Nice body kick there by Salazaro. Salazaro closes the distance and pushes Chan back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salazaro manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Salazaro will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Chan up against the cage. Chan misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Chan tries to land knees in the clinch but Salazaro avoids the damage to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The referee is keeping an eye on Salazaro - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jesus Salazaro. Salazaro gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Salazaro misses with a punch to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Salazaro's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Salazaro. Salazaro is pushing Chan up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Salazaro for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Salazaro blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Salazaro keeps control of Chan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Stalling in the clinch from Salazaro.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jesus Salazaro. Salazaro closes the distance and pushes Chan back into the cage. Chan with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Chan tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Salazaro throws an overhand right that lands on Chan's shoulder, as Chan tries to avoid the shot. Christopher Chan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chan swings for the body but Salazaro moves out of range.

Chan wants to get back to striking at distance but Salazaro won't allow it.
Chan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Salazaro breaks the clinch.
Chan takes a swing at Salazaro's ribcage but misses. Chan doesn't manage to clinch there - Salazaro circles away.

Chan fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Salazaro is out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Salazaro counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Salazaro. Chan misses with some punches.
Chan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Salazaro displaying some good clinch control by pressing Chan up against the cage. Chan misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Salazaro.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Chan tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Salazaro's elbow. Chan tries to work over Salazaro's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Come on Salazaro - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Jesus Salazaro dominated that second round. That's time! Salazaro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Salazaro tries to clinch but Chan moves out of range. Chan lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Chan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Salazaro swats away the attempt to clinch by Chan. Chan wants to clinch. Good leg kick by Chan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salazaro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chan swats him away and circles back towards the center. A nice side step and Chan releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. A good leg kick by Chan. Salazaro throws the kick towards the body but Chan avoids it. Chan misses with a double jab.

Salazaro is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Chan. Salazaro throws out a leg kick but Chan moves out of range and Salazaro only half commits. Salazaro clinches with his opponent.
Salazaro is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Salazaro stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Salazaro tries to clinch up. Salazaro is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chan can do to turn this around? Chan swinging wildly here.
It looked like Salazaro was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Chan looks to score with a jab to the body but Salazaro is just out of range. Salazaro has Chan up against the cage in a clinch.
Salazaro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Horrible takedown attempt by Salazaro or perhaps it was just good defense by Chan, which made it look bad.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salazaro shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Chan tries to keep at a distance but Salazaro has taken the fight into the clinch. Salazaro stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
