The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ridderinkhof moves into range and connects with a jab.
Ridderinkhof throws a shot from downtown. Minasian moves away and avoids it.
Ridderinkhof bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ridderinkhof shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Aad Ridderinkhof has been cut.
Aad Ridderinkhof seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Minasian gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ridderinkhof.

No joy there for Minasian, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ridderinkhof was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Minasian tries to bum rush Ridderinkhof with a series of wild strikes but Ridderinkhof uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ridderinkhof looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Minasian counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Ridderinkhof to the mat! Minasian runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Ridderinkhof is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!
A nice leg kick lands there from Minasian.
OH! Ridderinkhof has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Minasian smells blood and charges in for the finish! Minasian unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Ridderinkhof sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
