Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Reid Young (ranked 5827 p4p, 25116 weight class) and Bob Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bob Aldo!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Young feints and as Aldo raises his hands in defense, Young changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Aldo is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Young presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Aldo is trying to pull guard but Young turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Aldo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Young fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Young really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Aldo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Young postures up in Aldo's guard and throws a big left but Aldo blocks it.
Young won't allow Aldo to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Aldo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Young tries to counter by clinching up but Aldo breaks away and moves out of range.
Aldo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Young scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Aldo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Young got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aldo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Young has managed to get both his arms back between Aldo's legs - danger averted.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Aldo wants to get back to his feet but Young is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Aldo has his feet on Young 's thighs here. He's pushed Young off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Young screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
