Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Toxic Avenger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim McKreedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avenger's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Misfits - We are 138. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Toxic Avenger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
McKreedy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
McKreedy is trying to drag Avenger to the mat but Avenger just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Avenger gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from McKreedy.
Avenger jumps guard but McKreedy stands there with Avenger around his waist. Avenger gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Avenger has McKreedy pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Avenger pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending McKreedy tumbling to the mat - Avenger dives into McKreedy's guard.
Avenger slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

McKreedy looking for a guillotine here but Avenger defends easily.
McKreedy is looking to stand up but Avenger isn't so interested in that idea.
McKreedy can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Avenger controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Avenger sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed McKreedy's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
McKreedy has hold of Avenger's hands but Avenger slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, Avenger seems content to control.
Avenger working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
McKreedy looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Well, if Avenger is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Avenger has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Toxic Avenger just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

The fight stays on the outside here - Avenger looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

McKreedy is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Avenger has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. McKreedy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Avenger is looking for a takedown up against the cage. McKreedy gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Avenger has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McKreedy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

McKreedy is pushing Avenger up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

A jab lands there for McKreedy.

Avenger remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

McKreedy wants to control but Avenger postures up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Avenger cracks McKreedy with a big right hand but McKreedy just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Avenger misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

McKreedy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Avenger wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
McKreedy seems a little lost for a moment, as Avenger dominates the positioning.
McKreedy is working to avoid the ground and pound but Avenger connects with a decent elbow.
McKreedy is looking to regain half guard here but Avenger keeps moving and retains side control.

and Avenger holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
McKreedy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

McKreedy wants to break free but Avenger has control.

McKreedy shoots in looking for a takedown. Avenger tries to sprawl out of it but McKreedy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Avenger manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

McKreedy wants to stand but Avenger has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Avenger is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McKreedy is controlling him.

Avenger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McKreedy is fending him off so far but Avenger persists. Nope, McKreedy circles away and we're back to standing.

Avenger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Jim McKreedy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
