Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 6611 p4p, 24541 weight class) and Vvv Vvv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vvv Vvv will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Vvv has his takedown stuffed
and Sss counters with a nice body kick.
Sss looks for a takedown but Vvv sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vvv throws a wild body kick that Sss sees coming a mile off.
Sss throws a quick counter head kick but Vvv was just out of range.

Sss darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Vvv keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Sss stops Vvv from getting back to his feet.
Vvv has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sss is working away from the top position though.
Sss looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Vvv wants to improve his position but Sss is controlling well.
Sss frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Sss looking to control and managing it successfully.
Sss has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Vvv is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Vvv is trying to stand up.
Sss takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sss Sss dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sss shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vvv manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Sss stays in close to Vvv's body and controls the position.
Sss stops Vvv from standing up.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Vvv manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Vvv stops a takedown attempt from Sss.
Vvv gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sss.

Vvv manages to break the clinch.

Sss shoots in and gets a takedown into Vvv's guard.
Sss is stalling in the full guard.
Vvv is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sss looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Vvv bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sss's guard.

Sss keeping moving, preventing Vvv from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Vvv throws a big right hand that misses.
Vvv sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sss pulls Vvv in close to his closed guard and prevents Vvv from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sss stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sss wants it to stay on the feet.
Sss is looking to counter with a body kick.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Vvv Vvv will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Sss fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vvv sprawls well initially but Sss persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Sss takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vvv wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Sss stuffs the takedown.

Sss throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vvv tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sss is in Vvv's guard.
Vvv wants to stand and escape but Sss is having none of it.
Vvv is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Sss slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sss seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Vvv for as long as he can get away with.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sss's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Vvv looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sss is fending him off so far but Vvv persists. Nope, Sss circles away and we're back to standing.
Sss closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vvv circles away.
Vvv counters with a body kick.

Sss shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vvv napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sss controls the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sss Sss showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Sss has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
