Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between DJ Perez (ranked 4680 p4p, 4781 weight class) and Lucas Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Martinez swivels and escapes.
Martinez avoids a kick to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Martinez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
