Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zhengqiu Chin (ranked 4615 p4p, 3399 weight class) and Hewie Alton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chin comes to the cage accompanied by Chinese Boxing Rhythm. Zhengqiu Chin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zhengqiu Chin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hewie Alton!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chin fails to land with a series of punches.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Chin - that will leave a mark!
Alton lands a jab to the nose.
Chin tries to clinch but Alton is having none of it.
Zhengqiu Chin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice body kick there by Chin.
Alton lands a jab.
Alton walks into a jab.
Chin tries to clinch up but Alton circles away and keeps his distance.
Chin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alton swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Chin slips a jab from Alton.
Alton's coach down at All Elite Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Alton's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Chin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Chin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alton swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Chin connects with a leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chin sprawls well. Chin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Alton gets slowly back to his feet.
Chin tries to counter by clinching up but Alton breaks away and moves out of range.

Alton fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Chin is looking to clinch but Alton is avoiding it.
Alton misses the shot to the body.
Chin moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Alton thows a left - swing and a miss!
Alton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chin misses with a few strikes there.
A head kick misses from Chin.
Chin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Alton changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Alton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chin is fending him off so far but Alton persists. Nope, Chin circles away and we're back to standing.
Chin drops down looking for a counter takedown but Alton sprawls and moves away.
Zhengqiu Chin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hewie Alton.
Chin lands a high kick!
Chin tries to clinch but Alton moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chin throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Chin lands a two punch combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Alton throws a shot from downtown. Chin moves away and avoids it.
Alton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chin's waist but Chin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alton off to one side.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The crowd cheers as Alton lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chin doesn't seem phased though.
Chin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Alton throws a body punch but Chin moves out of range.
Alton is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Alton avoids a punch combination nicely.
Chin ducks under a wild hook from Alton.
Chin misses with a few strikes there.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Some wild striking there from Chin.
Alton throws a hook but Chin blocks it.
Chin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chin slips a jab from Alton.
As Alton tries to get set, Chin tries to push him back and clinch up but Alton manages to avoid the attempt.
Chin takes one to the chin there.
Alton shoots for a double leg takedown but Chin sprawls well. He's pushed Alton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Chin went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Alton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Chin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chin throws a combination. Alton tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Alton lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Chin backs up against the cage.
Chin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Alton jabs Chin to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Chin tries to clinch but Alton moves away
and Alton counters with a nice right hand that sends Chin toppling to the canvas! Chin scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Alton finish him?!
Chin is rocked!
Alton misses with a double jab.
Oh Chin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alton shoots in but Chin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Alton throws an uppercut from hell that sends Chin clean off his feet! He's out cold! Alton stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hewie Alton!
Hewie Alton decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
