Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luciano Proenca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luciano Proenca! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Andrews! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Proenca clinches with his opponent.
Proenca pulls Andrews into guard.
Proenca could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Proenca keeping moving, preventing Andrews from controlling successfully. Proenca is looking for a triangle but Andrews pushes his legs off easily.
Andrews throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Andrews accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Proenca keeping moving, preventing Andrews from controlling successfully. That's one minute gone in the round. Proenca breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Proenca shoots in but Andrews avoids the takedown attempt easily. Andrews misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Proenca fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Andrews, pushing him back against the cage. Andrews is trying to break the clinch but Proenca has him pressed against the cage. Proenca lands a nice knee to the body. A head punch blocked on the inside by Proenca. Andrews has had enough of the clinch but Proenca keeps him there for the moment. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Andrews throws a head kick but Proenca moves out of range.

Andrews closes the distance but Proenca moves to the side and Proenca moves into the clinch. Andrews misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Proenca.
Andrews is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Andrews has had enough of the clinch but Proenca keeps him there for the moment. Andrews wants to break the clinch but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Andrews wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Proenca tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Andrews smiles and moves away.
Andrews lands with an overhand left. Andrews cracks Proenca with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Proenca falls to his knees and Andrews doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
