Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Menezes (ranked 178 p4p, 525 weight class) and Jin Yi (ranked 30 p4p, 81 weight class). Yi has chosen Wobble as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yi thuds his right hand into Menezes's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Menezes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Yi misses with a wild body shot.
Menezes pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Menezes has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mapinguari Guerreiro in the buildup to the fight.
Menezes swings for the body but Yi moves out of range.
Menezes throws a body shot but no joy.

Yi tries to sprawl but Menezes drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Yi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Menezes pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Menezes passes Yi's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Menezes is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Yi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Menezes defends well.

Menezes has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Yi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Menezes is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Yi pulls down on the head and he's put Menezes to sleep! This one is all over!
