With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Abbas Mohammad!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mohammad misses with a takedown attempt
and Bon Hwa counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Abbas Mohammad has been cut.
Mohammad has his takedown stuffed
and Bon Hwa counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Mohammad with a poor takedown
enabling Bon Hwa to counter with a crisp jab.
Kil Bon Hwa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abbas Mohammad.
Mohammad misses with a takedown
and Bon Hwa counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bon Hwa feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mohammads jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Mohammad with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mohammad takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bon Hwa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mohammad looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bon Hwa darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mohammad doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bon Hwa counters with a big right hand! Oh Mohammad is in trouble here! Bon Hwa follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
