Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Goran Jovanic (ranked 3464 p4p, 3741 weight class) and Rickson Silva (ranked 445 p4p, 477 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rickson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jovanic but Jovanic pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silva is defended easily by Jovanic.
Jovanic dives in for a single leg takedown but Silva sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

We've been hearing good reports from Jovanic's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
