Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mate Orsic (ranked 997 p4p, 4033 weight class) and Jorge Masvidal (ranked 131 p4p, 420 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Orsic might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to KRS One - Rappaz R. N. Dainja. Masvidal has chosen Scarface as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orsic lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Sloppy strikes from Masvidal. Those never looked like landing.
Masvidal walks into a stiff left hand from Orsic.
Masvidal throws a head kick that misses.
Orsic connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Masvidal momentarily.
Masvidal throws a wild body kick that Orsic sees coming a mile off.
Orsic is looking for a counter combo.

Masvidal is rocked!
Masvidal throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Masvidal is still on wobbly legs! Can Orsic finish him?
Orsic steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Masvidal is out on his feet! Orsic sets himself and nearly takes Masvidal's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mate Orsic!
Mate Orsic retains his lightweight title!
A relieved looking Mate Orsic thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Jorge Masvidal had this to say: 'Been choked out, knocked out, split decisioned, robbed on the cards. Where I’m from that only makes you more of a dog. The world don’t care about your L’s. Wake up and get to work cause nobody gonna do it for you'.
