Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pen shoots in for a double leg but Hynes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hynes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pen as he avoids it easily.

Oooooh!!! Hynes has knocked Pen down with a huge combo! Hynes steps away and waves a wobbly Pen back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Pen is rocked!

It looks like Tj Pen has been cut.
Hynes dives in and grabs Pen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pen pushes down on Hynes's head and hops out.
Oh Pen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hynes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Pen moves into the clinch.
Pen tries for a takedown but Hynes manages to get underhooks.

Pen breaks the clinch.
Pen seems to have got his legs back now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hynes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hynes swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tj Pen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Pen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hynes can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hynes had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pen defends it easily.

Pen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Pen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Hynes is rocked!
Pen connects with a couple of short punches.
Hynes is still in real trouble! Can Pen finish him?
Pen arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Hynes's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
