The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honorio gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Assad counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Honorio misses with a takedown attempt - Assad sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Honorio closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Assad did well to prevent Honorio getting side control.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Honorio maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Assad could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Honorio has cracked it and Assad is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Honorio!
