Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nissho Sakurai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asta Cover!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cover tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sakurai defends well and Cover ends up having to push Sakurai into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Sakurai closes the distance and pushes Cover back into the cage.
Cover fails to pull guard.
Knees to the body from Sakurai.
Cover looks winded!
Cover takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Asta Cover has been cut.

A right hook to the body lands for Sakurai.
Sakurai drops Cover with a big knee straight up the middle! Cover is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Cover is rocked!
Asta Cover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sakurai clinches up against the cage.
Sakurai lands a nice knee to the body.

Cover is still on wobbly legs! Can Sakurai finish him?
Sakurai jerks Cover's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Cover drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Sakurai goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Sakurai because Cover was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Nissho Sakurai!
