Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Goran Acker (ranked 2625 p4p, 25464 weight class) and King Simbolon (ranked 328 p4p, 711 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simbolon misses with a left hand
and Acker counters with a right hand to the body.
Simbolon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Acker.
Simbolon motions for Acker to come forward. Simbolon throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Acker lands with a shot to the body.

Simbolon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Simbolon obliges.
Acker misses with a punch to the body.
Simbolon told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Acker gets through Simbolon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Simbolon misses with some punches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Simbolon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Simbolon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Acker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Simbolon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
King Simbolon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Simbolon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Acker connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Simbolon's hands.
Simbolon has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Simbolon there as he acknowledges the shot.

Acker scores with a jab to the body.
Acker avoids a punch combination nicely.
Simbolon smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Acker uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Simbolon closes the distance and pushes Acker back into the cage.
Acker lands with a left to the head.
Simbolon tries to throw a body punch but Acker avoids it by throwing Simbolon back against the cage.
Simbolon lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Acker backwards.
Acker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Simbolon tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Acker looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Simbolon lands an elbow inside.

Simbolon misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Simbolon just leaning against Acker, taking a breather.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Simbolon throws a punch but it's blocked by Acker.

Acker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Simbolon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Simbolon clinches.

Simbolon manages to break the clinch.

Simbolon moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Acker fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Simbolon on the side of the head.

Simbolon is rocked!

Simbolon drives through and clinches with Acker against the cage.
Simbolon is still on wobbly legs! Can Acker finish him?
Acker prevents a body shot from Simbolon.
Acker tries to break free but Simbolon pushes him back against the cage.
Acker blocks the elbow strike.
Simbolon wants to break free but Acker has control.

Acker lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Acker lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Acker throws a big uppercut that drops Simbolon! More strikes from Acker and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Simbolon lies dazed against the cage as Acker celebrates with his cornermen!
